Activate DP260 or Go3 security token

You can activate your token (DP260 or Go3) if your token status is Activate.

Your financial institution needs to license the soft token app to offer you the soft token feature. If offered by your financial institution, you can use the app for authentication purposes instead of your DP260 or Go3 security token. Use the Switch to app page for more information about how to activate a soft token.

To activate a security token:

  1. In the Token section, click Activate. The system displays the additional fields.
  2. In the Token serial number field, type the number assigned to your security token. The token serial number is located at the back of the security token.
  3. In the Token generated password field, type the password that the token generates.
  4. In the Create a PIN field, type the four-digit numeric PIN that you want to create.
  5. In the Security question field, type the question that a customer service representative at the financial institution can use to identify you. The Security Question is also used to authenticate you in the event that a security token is reported lost or damaged (for example, What is the name of your dog?).
  6. In the Security answer field, type the response to the Security Question. Using the example above (What is the name of your dog?) the Security Answer may be "Spot."
  7. Click Save. The system displays the Profile page along with a message that it activated your security token successfully.
