Verify identity
The system displays the Verify identity page when you:
- Report token lost or damaged during sign in process
- Activate soft token from Profile page
- Switch to app to use soft tokens from Profile page
- Add device to activate a token app on another device from Profile page
To verify your identity:
- In the Username field, type your username (for example, gwashington).
Note:
The system displays this field only when you report token lost or damaged from the sign in page.
- In the Password or PIN field, type the password or PIN that you use to sign in to Business Online.
Note:
The system ends your session and logs you out when you type wrong password multiple times on the Profile page.
- Click Begin verification. The system displays the Security question section on the Verify your identity page
- Answer the security question and then click Complete verification. The system either displays the Deactivate token, Activate soft token, Switch to app, or Add device page.
Note:
If you have not enrolled for multifactor authentication, the system does not display step 4. In that case, for the step 3, the system displays the Activate soft token, Switch to app or Add device page.
